June Wedding Review

Here are some of the fabulous weddings from this month!
Ashelynn Manor is a beautiful wedding venue, with a fabulous reception hall. The atmosphere is intimate and fun and I can't think of a more appropriate place for a bright yellow and white daisy wedding!
The Chapel's rich wood tones lends a richness to the room and allows the flowers to stand as the focal. (Of course until the bride makes her entrance!).
The Forest Deck at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center is the perfect outdoor setting for a sacred ceremony.
The gazebo was decorated with beautiful white and green arrangements connected by twisting curly willow branches.
Bright receptions always make for good parties! These fun low arrangements were a combination of yellow spider mums, red alstromeria and mini garden roses. While the trio of vases held submerged gladiola blooms!

Tall arrangements are always eye catchers and these beauties were a fun mix of yellow, white, red and blue bloom that stole the show.
In the Vista Ballroom at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center this classic red and white wedding was truly timeless with calla lilies and red roses.

The Glass ballroom at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center was the perfect setting for this apple green reception! Looking over the water through all the glass walls created a beautiful balance to the vibrant centerpieces in the room.
With daisies, apples and spider mums these fun arrangements were the perfect personal touch to the party decor.

Centerpiece Fabulousness!

Each week at The Club at Carlton Woods we create a table scape on the main table in the entry way. So every now and then we like to show off what fun things we've done! This purple color scheme was fun to accent with curling sego palm leaves and clustered purple spider mums.

Carlton Woods Weekend

These beautiful pieces were the centerpieces for a fabulous weekend at the Carlton Woods. The contemporary red and white color scheme was augmented by the beautiful eggplant accents throughout the pieces. WIth White oriental lilies, red full roses, plum miniature calla lilies, dusty miller, white roses and cabbage the arrangements were full of texture and movement.
Using monstera leaves as large background shapes the flowers really popped off the table.
And of course we created these submerged red gerber daisies in glass cylinders for accent pieces on cocktail tables throughout the club.

Hot and Cold

Summer time brings the heat! What better way to cool off than with a dip in the pool? Or even better, a pool party. And what party would be complete without flowers! And what would be more cool than floating flowers? Pool floats are amazing displays of flowers that can be done vertically or horizontal, like the Cadillac emblem pictured below.
And on a hot Summer day you'll need something cool to keep your food from getting warm in the hot sun. So put it on ice! Literally, we work with some of the best ice sculptors to create beautiful pieces for food buffets. So, if you're throwing a backyard bash, give us a call and we'll help you make it a total splash!

A Curtain of Orchids

This beautiful arbor was the backdrop for a ceremony at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center on the Warff Terrace Patio. A black wrought iron arch draped in soft green vines and a curtain of falling dendrobium orchid blooms framed on either side by stunning white and green arrangements with gladiolas, lilies and mixed greens.
These fun arrangements were for a small reception at The Woodlands Respot and Conference Center. With green red and white blooms the lilies and gerbera daisies really popped against the ivory linens.

Pink is Always in

Pink is one of those colors you can always plan on seeing at spring weddings. This lovely bouquet with hot pink and soft pink roses with bots of white and green is done in a traditional handtied style wrapped in a satin ribbon. The bridesmaids bouquets were a smaller version of the bridal bouquet but without the white blooms.
The table centerpieces were a mix of white hydrangea and medium pink two toned roses with seeded eucalyptus and lily grass loops alternating with a trio and pedestal glass vases with floating rose heads in each one.

Lemons and Plums...

May is always a beautiful month, especially for a wedding! This ceremony on the Forest Deck at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center  was a soft combination of lemony yellow and sky blue with white accents.
The reception was held in The Emerald Ballroom at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center. With alternating styles of arrangements the combination of yellow tulips and blue hydrangea was the perfect mix of spring.
The lovely lavender wedding was at The Club at Carlton Woods. With a stunning bouquet of two toned white and purple miniature calla lilies with a collar of white cymbidium orchids the bride had a bouquet that was worthy of her and her stunning gown. The altar arrangements were traditional mixes of purple hydrangea and white oriental lilies with curled ti leaves. The bridesmaids bouquets were a soft nosegay of lavender roses wrapped in an ivory satin ribbon.

We used a mix of styles for the table centerpieces, some were with tall glass cylinders encasing purple gladiolas, while others were soft ivory hydrangea with lavender roses and tulips and sweeping miniature two toned calla lilies..
