Winter Wedding on The Forest Deck

Soft colors are always so bridal and romantic. I love to see combinations like this with muted greens, ivories, blush pinks and soft yellows. The textures of this bouquet gives such great visual interest and dimension, even from far away (which helps it to stand out in pictures).

The ceremony was held at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center on the Forest Deck. With our fabulous flowing curtains, two luscious altar arrangements filled with hydrangea and matching pew decor clusters, it was a beautiful setting for such a special occasion.

The Emerald Ballroom was where the reception was held. This particular ballroom overlooks the Forest Deck and the golf course. It was a romantic setting with beautiful colors, and soft textures.

Pink and White Wedding

I've said it before and I'll say it again (or type rather), professional photographers do an amazing job capturing the beauty of our flowers in a way we just can't seem to replicate. These stunning pictures were taken by Archetype Studios and we just had to share!
The wedding was held in the Robb Chapel at The Woodlands United Methodist Church.
While the reception was held at The Woodlands Resort and Country Club in the Vista Ballroom.

December Weddings... part 2

Continuing our review of our favorite weddings from this last December, we move to St. Anthony of Paudua Catholic Church. The sanctuary is always decorated so beautifully for the holidays, but simple enough that every event can still be personal to the families.
At the entrance to the aisle we used our wrought iron shepherd hooks and open lanterns, which were filled with flowing flower arrangements and candles. This is a great way to make a statement at the beginning of the aisle and set the stage for the rest of the ceremony.

Their reception was held at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center in the Emerald Ballroom. Their color scheme included teal, soft pinks, white and a touch of red to brighten it up. We also used accents of snowflakes throughout the arrangements for a fun whimsical addition.
Her cake was decorated with a beautiful topper of miniature garden roses and clusters cascading down each corner. The head table had a long and low arrangement with 2 tall candelabra arrangements behind the bride and groom. Helping to frame the new couple in such a large ballroom.
With teal underwater lights in the arrangements, the ballroom glowed with a beautiful soft light throughout the night.
This stunning contemporary ceremony was simple and beautiful. Altar arrangements of all white calla lilies and white hydrangea, candle pew markers, and simple white curtains on the Forest Deck at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center set the stage for this bride and her groom.
Their reception, held in the Emerald Ballroom of The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center was beautiful. The table arrangements consisted of tall white calla lilies arching over the tables with a base of lush white hydrangea at the top of the vase. The head table had an assortment of silver goblets with floating candles and low arrangements of white hydrangea along the length of the entire table.

The buffet arrangement was created in a simple contemporary design to compliment the rest of the decor.
This lavender and plum wedding at Ashton Gardens showcased the royal nature of beautiful purple tones.
The arch was covered in green vines and accented by two fabulous altar style arrangements at the base on either side. The arrangements included: roses, lisianthus, stock, gladiolas and mixed greens.
The brides bouquet was beautiful with bombay dendrobium orchids, lavender roses, lisianthus, and pixi carnation blooms. He cake was decorated with a  mix of coordinating blooms including a topper and clusters for the sides.

December Weddings... part 1

The holidays are such a great time of year. It's a time to give, celebrate and be thankful for all we have. And I can't think of a better way to celebrate than with a wedding!
This regal red wedding at Augusta Pines in Magnolia Texas was classic with roses, rannunculus, gerber daisies and mixed greenery.
On the lighter side of the color spectrum we also had a luscious and soft white wedding at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center in The Vista Ballroom. The arrangements were filled with white hydrangea, white spiders, white babies breath and mixed greens atop a beautiful silver candelabra.

The alternating table arrangements were lovely and full using the same flowers on a slightly smaller scale.
The brides bouquet was a whimsical and meaningful piece with a base of white hydrangea and mixed silver broaches placed within the flowers.

Carlton Woods Member Guest Event

In the fall of each year The Club at Carlton Woods holds its annual Member Guest event. This year it couldn't have been on a more beautiful day. The skies were blue, there was a light breeze and the temperature was near perfect. So what could have made the day more fabulous? Well our stunning flowers of course!
With a mix of low, medium and high standing arrangements we created lots of focal points in an open air space, which in turn helps create a more intimate setting. The arrangements were filled with orange lilies, coffee bean (brown hypericum berries), butterscotch cymbidium orchid blooms, mango and flame miniature calla lilies, two tone orange and yellow roses and purple bombay dendrobium orchids.
The buffet arrangement was done in a contemporary style with twisting movement and clusters of flowers, creating high impact and vivid color.
With arching curly willow, grapevine and bittersweet, the lilies, calla lilies, roses, hypericum berries and cymbidium orchids were a beautiful sight to behold.
Underneath the tent we had alternating high and low arrangements in the same style and with the same fabulous color scheme.
The tent was draped in champagne and chocolate satin fabric and created a luxurious feel throughout the room.
The Champions table had an inspiring arrangement with glowing led birch branches, masses of lilies and flowers, orchid blooms on each napkin, cymbidiums suspended in the vase and rose petals on the table.
The awards table also had a few floral clusters to add color and texture and help tie everything together.
It was a truly stunning event. We can't wait for next year!

Carlton Woods Holiday Party

Happy New Year!
There's nothing like a good party at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands Texas! It is true what they say, in Texas everything is bigger, and I might add better! Every year The Club at Carlton Woods throws a fabulous holiday party and we are always excited to bring out some fabulous showpieces. But it all starts with first impressions, and nothing says "Happy Holidays" more that a fabulous front door framed with beautiful poinsettia topiary trees.
Each room in the club had different colors or a different theme, which makes for some very fun and fancy arrangements. This time of year we are usually covered from head to toe in glitter and preparing for this party was no exception. The front table in the foyer always has a stunning floral centerpiece; but for the parties we like to dress them up a bit. With copper and chocolate ornaments, a mass of red roses and a fresh flower wreath at the bottom this arrangement was definitely an eye catcher.
As i mentioned earlier the colors are out of this world and underwater lights are always a fun addition when your using cool tones.
In the dining room this massive white and copper arrangement was stunning. With oriental lilies, white hydrangea, lucious white roses, orchid blooms and soft evergreen boughs it lit up the room.
In yet another dining room the colors were more reflective of a warm holiday. with orange roses, copper glittery branch accents, orange mocara orchids, copper wire swirls and evergreens. This combination created a more playful and warm ambiance in the room.
We love fun textures and these arrangements were full of them. Pairing cabbage with miniature garden roses and safari sunset is a fun and very different way to accent a table. While hydrangea and cymbidium orchids is a little more popular the evergreens and glittery accents make it pop. And we love the classic contemporary floating green cymbidium in a low glass vase.
This buffet arrangement showcased a light colored manzinita branch with suspended butterscotch orchids and fluffy white hydrangea pillowed bellow.
WOW... are the first worlds that come to mind when trying to describe this amazing tree. What a fabulous show stopper! The green weeping willow created the perfect canopy for the vibrant arrangements below.
A mixture of green cymbidium orchids, lavender roses, vibrant blue delphinium, purple dendrobium orchids, thistle and fun glittery and wire accents these flowers stole the show of the whole night! It was amazing.
