Dinner parties are always fun, and even more fun with beautiful flowers! These tables centerpieces were fun, contemporary and beautiful in color. The arrangement on the left is made with dark burgundy dahlias, antique green hydrangea and hanging amaranths. The arrangement on the right is made with tulips, hypericum berries (or coffee bean), and two tone orange roses.
The buffet arrangements on a contemporary black metal art piece is created in a flowing design to showcase the structure and soft arching flowers. Made with tulips, lilies, hanging amaranths, dendrobium orchids, and tropical leaves.

May Wedding at The Carlton Woods

This post is all about the romance of weddings. What a BEAUTIFUL wedding at The Club at Carlton Woods. With flowers literally everywhere the entire clubhouse was transformed into a beautiful romantic oasis for the couple to celebrate their union!
The ceremony decor consisted of a square arch covered with white hydrangea, peach and yellow roses, various green vines and accents of curly willow.
The aisle was accented by a white aisle runner, rose petals on either side and these beautiful iron shepherd hooks with open lanterns, each holding a beautiful arrangement of flowers including white hydrangea, peach roses, yellow miniature garden roses and accents of curly willow.

The reception was truly stunning. A focal table of clustered bouquets of all the flowers used throughout the wedding slanted in tall glass cylinders was eye catching!
With 4 different styles of arrangements the table centerpieces were incredible... WOW!

It was a pleasure to provide stunning florals for a fabulous bride. We love what we do and are grateful for the opportunity to share with you!

Mother's Day at The Club at Carlton Woods 2013

Mother's Day at The Club at Carlton Woods is always a party! With soft shades of lavender, white, pinks and yellow the club house was filled with a soft romantic feel.

The table arrangements were done in a traditional style in pedestal vases with two tone pink and white roses, statice, miniature garden roses, and my favorite, lavender stock.
Over at the Fazio club house the arrangements were a little more contemporary with lavender tulips and liatris, white stock and lavender roses. These beauties were created in a clustered more contemporary style.
Ahh, the buffet arrangements are always beautiful pieces of art! Incorporating the existing colors and blooms into a fabulous arrangement that spirals up this beautiful iron trellis, you really get a feel of being in an english garden where everything is soft and naturally beautiful.

Mother's Day 2013

The month of May at The Blooming Idea is always busy. It's the best kind of busy, with lots of great reasons to celebrate. The end of school, prom, beautiful weather, and my favorite, Mother's Day!
Here are a few of our favorite Mother's Day arrangements. We used lots of tropicals this year including baby birds of paradise, shampoo ginger, anthirium, dendrobium and cymbidium orchids.
Most arrangements tend to fall in the softer color scheme, with lots of purples, whites and pinks. The picture on the left features a contemporary design with purple mocara orchids, lavender roses, white lilies and beautiful dar green tropical leaves. While the photo on the right is a fun design of all different shades of pink roses in the shape of a heart and a carnation teddy bear in the center, yep you heard right, that's all flowers, even the bear!
Another fun thing we do is incorporate personal objects into arrangements, like this wreath of hydrangea, peonies, and roses around the bottom of the eiffel tower! Or of course if you really want to knock Mom's socks off you can send her a topiary of solid roses!
Mother's Day was fabulous. Thank you to all our loyal customers. We appreciate your business and allowing us to do what we love most, make beautiful arrangements for you to enjoy!
