Ashelynn Manor in the Fall

 Ashelynn Manor is a lovely wedding venue in Magnolia Texas, and we often have the pleasure of decorating for our clients events. This beautiful September wedding was traditional white and fun contemporary designs.

The rich wood floors and pews are a wonderful contrast to the bright white florals. And the Silver candelabras are always an exquisite centerpiece.

June Wedding Review

Here are some of the fabulous weddings from this month!

 Ashelynn Manor is a beautiful wedding venue, with a fabulous reception hall. The atmosphere is intimate and fun and I can't think of a more appropriate place for a bright yellow and white daisy wedding!

The Chapel's rich wood tones lends a richness to the room and allows the flowers to stand as the focal. (Of course until the bride makes her entrance!).

The Forest Deck at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center is the perfect outdoor setting for a sacred ceremony.

 The gazebo was decorated with beautiful white and green arrangements connected by twisting curly willow branches.

 Bright receptions always make for good parties! These fun low arrangements were a combination of yellow spider mums, red alstromeria and mini garden roses. While the trio of vases held submerged gladiola blooms!

 Tall arrangements are always eye catchers and these beauties were a fun mix of yellow, white, red and blue bloom that stole the show.

 In the Vista Ballroom at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center this classic red and white wedding was truly timeless with calla lilies and red roses.

 The Glass ballroom at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center was the perfect setting for this apple green reception! Looking over the water through all the glass walls created a beautiful balance to the vibrant centerpieces in the room.

With daisies, apples and spider mums these fun arrangements were the perfect personal touch to the party decor.

A Touch of Winter

Ashelynn Manor is one of our favorite Magnolia reception sites. With the beautiful outdoor gazebo and the large reception hall you can accommodate all your guests in a beautiful and natural outdoor setting.
This beautiful bride played up the season with maintaining a soft color pallet. With the use of white pumpkins she played up the season but kept her colors soft and very bridal.
The centerpieces had gorgeous texture with a variety of blooms and mixed greens. The combination of aromatic titanic roses, blue thistle, white freesia and red hypericum berries created a gorgeous centerpiece with lots of visual interest and fun textures.

Red is all the Rage

The fall colors are on parade this month and red is often at center stage! These beautiful wedding showcase different styles and designs that just simply scream fall!
Bouquets with texture and visual interest are always more fun to photograph and create depth and impact in bridal portraits.
One of our favorite detail pieces for receptions is having something on the doors. These wreaths were beautiful with gorgeous color and amazing texture and movement. The nice thing is that once all your guests are inside, they can be moved to the inside of the doors just by switching the hook around!
Ashelynn Manor's chapel is such a beautiful, yet simple setting for a wedding ceremony. With dark floor and soft beige walls it truly is a great backdrop for any color scheme, especially the rich tones of fall.
It's our favorite time of year and we absolutely love to see all the gorgeous pictures with such vibrant colors. Our theory about color? Don't be afraid to do what you want. It's your wedding and if bold is what you want, then go big and bold and we promise you wont regret it!

Vibrant Hues of Summer

The contrast you can achieve with hot colors is always eye catching and tends to leave a lasting impact!
This summer bride had her ceremony at the lovely chapel at Ashelynn Manor. The rich wood floors were the perfect backdrop for vibrant rose petals and full altar arrangements.
Her reception decor included pomanders hanging from shepherd hooks on either side of her cake table, a trio of vases with gerbera daisies, hydrangea, and orchids on the tables and candle light. Overall the vibrant colors were the perfect way to make a statement that was welcoming for all her guests!

What's black, white and red all over?

Other than a newspaper this wedding at Ashelynn Manor kept a very traditional color scheme and amplified the visual interest with accents of black. These bouquets were a beautiful statements against the bridesmaids gowns. She was truly a classic beauty.

A Summer of Fiery Love

When the temperature starts to climb and the sun is our on a regular basis all the colors around seem to be much more intense, letting everyone know that summer is finally here (not to mention the 100+ degree days). With all the heat and sunshine it seems fitting to create some hot and fiery pieces to showcase this couples big day. The mixture of lilies, gerbera daisies, roses, curly willow, hypericum berries, safari sunset and bells of Ireland made for some visually stimulating colors that were reminiscent of hot, passionate, summer days.

The reception decor incorporated 3 different centerpiece designs. The first was a beautiful cylinder filled with coordinating flowers in hot colors, the second was a cluster of blooms attached to the top of antiqued lanterns and the third small clusters of blooms attached to a miniature wrought iron candleabra, just for a touch of color. The tiered cake made a big statement with layers of cake alternating with flowers in a variety of fiery oranges and reds. The cinnamon accents throughout the room carried the spicy theme to each table. It was another successful hot summer night filled with gorgeous flowers and a beautiful bride.

Purple Is All The Rage

With it's rich depth and royal history purples have come swinging back into the bridal color pallets. The jewel tones of the color creates instant drama that you can't help but admire. These gentlemen are sporting 2 different styles of boutonnieres. The Groom (int he middle) has a sleek two tone ivory calla lily with a deep purple throat. The Groomsmen are wearing a traditional ivory rose boutonniere with a touch of greenery to help frame the rose against the lapel.

Some popular trends at this event were expressed in the color and in the candy bar... a beautiful and fun idea that we can't ger enough of. We know sometimes it can be tricky finding all the right vases to create such a beautiful display for your customized candy bar so we encourage youto come take a look at ours! Ashelynn Manor

There is something so crisp and clean about blue and white weddings. Reminiscent of winter and the chill in the air with the turning of the seasons to spring. Appropriate symbolism for the beginning of a new life together as husband and wife. This beautiful wedding was held in the new chapel at Ashelynn Manor. With the feel of an old southern church and the clean contemporary decor makes this a gorgeous place to say your vows. The dark wood accents in the chapel are the perfect backdrop for gorgeous florals to truly stand out and make an impact. My favorite part of this wedding were the rose petals used to line the aisle. It created a beautiful soft line to mimick a "visual" aisle runner without the addition of fabric. We love working with our brides. It is truly our favorite part of everyday, and makes working every weekend so worth it.

Champagne & Roses Anyone?

Ashelynn Manor was the perfect setting for a reception hall filled with champagne flutes and dozens of roses. Classic black, white and red is a timeless colorscheme filled with passion and romance. The bride chose 3 different designs for her tables. The first design included a floating Black Magic rose over black pebbles in a clear glass cylinder, the second design included champagne flutes and tilting roses, while the remaining tables had crystal lanterns. All the tables had red rose petals sprinkled around the mirrors. Balance and prescision in perfect form, wouldn't you agree?

July Weddings

Something about the summer beckons for beautiful outdoor weddings. Below are a few collages of different events in different styles that we were thrilled to create during this last month.

Beautiful fiery tones stirred up excitement with mango calla lilies, red roses, and green cymbidium orchids.

Green and white has become a new fresh and trendy color pallet. It is an invigorating addition to a traditionally all white wedding.

Sunny days bring sunny flowers. The two-tone yellow lilies created a vibrant punch of color for a fun summer night.


Blue and green created a calming and beach-like ambiance setting the tone for this laid back couple.

Fragrance filled the air with this beautiful hot pink and white wedding. The stargazer lilies created a pop of color and filled the chapel with an enticingly sweet aroma.
