Feasting Table with Hydrangea Table Runner

The bride and groom both wanted "wow" so we created this stunning cascade along their feasting table for the effect. The guests tables were decked in two complimentary styles : full & low and full & tall with matching hydrangea, roses, lisianthus and succulents. Wowzer !

A Curtain of Orchids

 

This beautiful arbor was the backdrop for a ceremony at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center on the Warff Terrace Patio. A black wrought iron arch draped in soft green vines and a curtain of falling dendrobium orchid blooms framed on either side by stunning white and green arrangements with gladiolas, lilies and mixed greens.

These fun arrangements were for a small reception at The Woodlands Respot and Conference Center. With green red and white blooms the lilies and gerbera daisies really popped against the ivory linens.

Lemons and Plums...

 May is always a beautiful month, especially for a wedding! This ceremony on the Forest Deck at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center  was a soft combination of lemony yellow and sky blue with white accents.

 The reception was held in The Emerald Ballroom at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center. With alternating styles of arrangements the combination of yellow tulips and blue hydrangea was the perfect mix of spring.

 The lovely lavender wedding was at The Club at Carlton Woods. With a stunning bouquet of two toned white and purple miniature calla lilies with a collar of white cymbidium orchids the bride had a bouquet that was worthy of her and her stunning gown. The altar arrangements were traditional mixes of purple hydrangea and white oriental lilies with curled ti leaves. The bridesmaids bouquets were a soft nosegay of lavender roses wrapped in an ivory satin ribbon.

 We used a mix of styles for the table centerpieces, some were with tall glass cylinders encasing purple gladiolas, while others were soft ivory hydrangea with lavender roses and tulips and sweeping miniature two toned calla lilies..

Lavender Vanilla

The fall always brings with it delicious fragrances. It seems to be the time of year where as you shop for the holidays you are greeted by warm and inviting aromas. Most include cinnamon, clove and pumpkins spices. But one of my favorite combinations, year round are mixtures of fresh herbs with vanilla.
Here are a few of our October weddings where lavenders and rich plums took center stage.
One of my favorite tall arrangements is done by gathering beautiful gladiolas together in one or two vibrant colors and arranging them in a tall slender vase. This in turn creates an incredible wow factor with a pop of color up high; while also making the ballroom seem more intimate.
Bridal bouquets are such a personal item and we strive to create each bouquet to match the style and personality of the blushing bride who will be holding it.
Using various heights in your centerpieces will visually force your guests to stop and appreciate the decor of the ballroom ten times more than if all the decor was one height throughout the room. Giving you more of a "wow" feeling as you and your guests enter.

Welcome Home

What better way to welcome guests into your home than to have an abundance of fresh flowers in every room! What was even better about this home is that they had stunning antique vases that already coordinated with each room.
We used a variety of peach, coral, green, pink and champagne tones to compliment the decor of their beautiful home. With full and luscious arrangements in just about every room the fragrance with truly captivating.
Our designers used a mixture of antique green hydrangea, esperance roses, peach finesse roses, sweetness roses, pink lisianthus, peach roses, champagne roses, soft pink gladiolas, green button poms and bells of Ireland, with a few greens mixed in throughout the arrangements.

Champagne & Crystals

It is interesting to follow color trends as the years progress. As a designer you notice the colors that stick around, almost in a sense becoming timeless, staples to any type of design. A few years ago turqouise and chocolate made it's big day view, and although turqouise has shifted from a predominant home decor color it's making its way into fashion. Last year we saw the addition of green in everything. Kitchens, flowers, fashion, it was all "going green" in more ways than one. This season purple has made a royal come back, with all it's luster and depth. But there are certian colors that will always be around. The Chocolate family is here to stay. As an alternate to black, which can sometimes be too harsh chocolate or espresso colors are a perfect formal substitue. On the opposite end of the color spectrum white can also be a little blinding. Thus, creams, champagnes, and ivories have taken center stage.

The bouquet we did for C.L. this last december was a beautiful piece inspired by a vintage lace dress in a true champagne hue. She loved the timeless nature of the dress and wanted to replicate it in her bouquet. We used a combination of creams, ivories, and champagne colors to get a rich depth. The variety of blooms mimiced the intricate lace she loved so much and the crystals were a fun touch to coordinate with the Brides jewelry. A combination of Quicksand roses, Vendella roses, miniature garden roses, lisianthus and stock added just the right amount of visual interest and a light and fresh aroma.
