Berry Beautiful!

Beautiful berry colored fall wedding ceremony at the Chapel in the Woods. The bride wanted to incorporate fresh lavender in all the bouquets and boutonnieres. Her bouquet in shades of lavender, purple, masala and blue includes roses, stock, orchids, dahlias, delphinium and fresh lavender.
Groom's boutonniere has lavender miniature garden roses, fresh lavender sprigs and seeded eucalyptus

The mood was changed up at the Reception to classic all white linens and flowers. All the centerpieces were in tall silver candelabras with hydrangea, roses, stock and orchids

Small orchid accent was placed in the napkin for a very special touch!

Our thanks go out to Joey T Photography for the gorgeous photos!

April Weddings at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center

This bridal bouquet was created in a traditional nosegay style with white roses and accents of white wax flower. The bridesmaids bouquets were a mixture of lavender, purples, whites, and hints of blue. Made with stock, roses, wax flowers, delphinium and lisianthus.
The boutonnieres for the gentlemen were made with myrtle and blue dendrobium orchids tied in black satin ribbon, while the mothers and grandmothers wore wrist corsages with miniature garden roses in white.
The reception was held in The Glass Ballroom at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center. With blue dendrobium orchids hanging from the ceiling and contemporary centerpieces with floating orchid blooms submerged in cylinders the room was amazing.
The ceremony was held on the Forest Deck. The gazebo decorated with 5 floral centerpieces spread out along the gazebo face atop a layer of white stretched tulle.

Bouquets of Spring

Bouquets are the most personal floral piece in the entire wedding. It is one of few things the bride keeps with her during that special day. We make sure that the bridal bouquets are reflective of the brides personality and style. Here are a few gorgeous bouquets from this spring!

And we couldn't leave out the guys too. Although their floral embellishments are typically small they can still pack a ton of personality.

Succulents, Spiders, and Trick... Oh My!

Texture is such a fabulous way to bring in so much dimension to a bouquet. This bridal bouquet featured succulents in a few varieties, thistle, green trick, cabbage and curly willow, creating a beautiful natural look with a combination of dusty and vibrant greens.
The floral tie backs and pew decor for The Forest Deck at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center were filled with a variety of lively green blooms and curly willow accents.
The centerpieces featured a few styles. They continued the theme of a natural and very textural element throughout the reception.

Carlton Woods Wedding in Purple

Purple and green are fresh and fun colors and for the summer always inviting. This beautiful wedding at the Woodlands United Methodist Church in the Robb chapel was absolutely stunning. The bride had fabulous taste and paid attention to the details, like having arrangements on the corner of her buffet tables, and having a stand alone bird gave for cards with a beautiful cascading arrangements on the top.
Her bouquet was a stunning mix of eggplant calla lilies, dendrobium orchids, hanging amaranths, lisianthus, and bear grass with a stunning broach attached to the ribbon wrap.
The groom wore a boutonniere of lisianthus and dusty miller with amaranths accents. Her altar pieces were a beautiful mix of purple gladiolas, orchids, spider mums, and stock with large tropical leaves.
Her head table was a fun arrangement of white hydrangea with dendrobium orchids blooms suspended in the vase and above the arrangement.

July Weddings {part 1}

This beautiful bride had a stunning bouquet of white hydrangea, white roses, white peonies and blue delphinium blooms, while her bridesmaid carried a fragrant bouquet of ruby stock with blue ribbons.
These bouquets were beautiful and also fragrant! We love to encourage our brides, if there are no allergies, to hold something fragrant. Especially since you will be told multiple times throughout the day to hold it right in your face, why not have something that smells divine, right?
The ceremony was held at the Chapel in the Woods in The Woodlands Texas. With potted hydrangeas along the aisle and stunning wrought iron candelabras with soft and full white and pink arrangements the chapel was decorated beautifully.
The reception was held at the Woodlands Resort and Conference Center. In such a large ballroom we often encourage the use of multiple styles of arrangements. By having different heights throughout the room you automatically increase the "wow" factor for your guests, plus it makes a big room feel more intimate.
Don't forget that most weddings and receptions are best completed when all the little details are paid attention. Flowers can brighten up any space in a reception hall. Your place card table, the guest books table, the gift table and buffet tables can all be personalized by using coordinating arrangements.

Lemons and Plums...

May is always a beautiful month, especially for a wedding! This ceremony on the Forest Deck at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center  was a soft combination of lemony yellow and sky blue with white accents.
The reception was held in The Emerald Ballroom at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center. With alternating styles of arrangements the combination of yellow tulips and blue hydrangea was the perfect mix of spring.
The lovely lavender wedding was at The Club at Carlton Woods. With a stunning bouquet of two toned white and purple miniature calla lilies with a collar of white cymbidium orchids the bride had a bouquet that was worthy of her and her stunning gown. The altar arrangements were traditional mixes of purple hydrangea and white oriental lilies with curled ti leaves. The bridesmaids bouquets were a soft nosegay of lavender roses wrapped in an ivory satin ribbon.

We used a mix of styles for the table centerpieces, some were with tall glass cylinders encasing purple gladiolas, while others were soft ivory hydrangea with lavender roses and tulips and sweeping miniature two toned calla lilies..
