Can You Tell Purple Is Our Favorite Color?

Clustering flowers is one of our favorite ways to make a big impact. When paired with strong lines and beautiful colors it's always striking and makes a big impression.  We love using different lines and shapes to create visual interest in our pieces. Like the Eremurus (Fox tail) in the top picture the curving vertical lines creates a sense of movement, while the green anthirium add stability to the foundation of the piece. Plus, with beautiful color combinations, you really can't go wrong.

May Wedding at The Carlton Woods

This post is all about the romance of weddings. What a BEAUTIFUL wedding at The Club at Carlton Woods. With flowers literally everywhere the entire clubhouse was transformed into a beautiful romantic oasis for the couple to celebrate their union!
The ceremony decor consisted of a square arch covered with white hydrangea, peach and yellow roses, various green vines and accents of curly willow.
The aisle was accented by a white aisle runner, rose petals on either side and these beautiful iron shepherd hooks with open lanterns, each holding a beautiful arrangement of flowers including white hydrangea, peach roses, yellow miniature garden roses and accents of curly willow.

The reception was truly stunning. A focal table of clustered bouquets of all the flowers used throughout the wedding slanted in tall glass cylinders was eye catching!
With 4 different styles of arrangements the table centerpieces were incredible... WOW!

It was a pleasure to provide stunning florals for a fabulous bride. We love what we do and are grateful for the opportunity to share with you!

Mother's Day at The Club at Carlton Woods 2013

Mother's Day at The Club at Carlton Woods is always a party! With soft shades of lavender, white, pinks and yellow the club house was filled with a soft romantic feel.

The table arrangements were done in a traditional style in pedestal vases with two tone pink and white roses, statice, miniature garden roses, and my favorite, lavender stock.
Over at the Fazio club house the arrangements were a little more contemporary with lavender tulips and liatris, white stock and lavender roses. These beauties were created in a clustered more contemporary style.
Ahh, the buffet arrangements are always beautiful pieces of art! Incorporating the existing colors and blooms into a fabulous arrangement that spirals up this beautiful iron trellis, you really get a feel of being in an english garden where everything is soft and naturally beautiful.

April Weddings at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center

This bridal bouquet was created in a traditional nosegay style with white roses and accents of white wax flower. The bridesmaids bouquets were a mixture of lavender, purples, whites, and hints of blue. Made with stock, roses, wax flowers, delphinium and lisianthus.
The boutonnieres for the gentlemen were made with myrtle and blue dendrobium orchids tied in black satin ribbon, while the mothers and grandmothers wore wrist corsages with miniature garden roses in white.
The reception was held in The Glass Ballroom at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center. With blue dendrobium orchids hanging from the ceiling and contemporary centerpieces with floating orchid blooms submerged in cylinders the room was amazing.
The ceremony was held on the Forest Deck. The gazebo decorated with 5 floral centerpieces spread out along the gazebo face atop a layer of white stretched tulle.

Purple and White... A Bride's Delight part 2

Part 2 of this post takes us to the reception at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center in The Emerald Ballroom. These beautiful arrangements were AMAZING! Filled with white hydrangea, white spider mums, white oriental lilies (which made the room smell heavenly), white larkspur and bombay purple and white dendrobium orchids they made you say "wow" as you walked in the ballroom!
The cocktail hour table also had a coordinating arrangement with white roses, lilies, and hydrangea. While the tiered cake was layered with beautiful white flowers including: hydrangea, orchids, roses, and lilies.

The table arrangement alternated in two different styles. One was a more full arrangement with softer lines, while the picture in the middle showcased a more vertical style which draws the eyes up and truly gives the room a lofty appearance. They were absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

Roses and Hydrangea

You just fall in love with some bouquets. This is one of those... I love all the various sizes of roses and the different colors popping against each other.
This lovely couple had their ceremony at one of my favorite venues in The Woodlands, The Chapel in the Woods. With slate floors, dark wood pews and a giant arched window, it's the perfect setting for a bride to completely make it personal with stunning arrangements and pew decor.
Her color pallet included cream and pinks for her, and greens, oranges and whites for her bridesmaids and reception.
The hydrangea pillowed together in our tall fluted vases looks so elegant and adds to the romance in the ballroom.
Her tables alternated a few styles of arrangements, while maintaining the same color scheme and blooms throughout. And what is better that a stunning centerpiece to welcome your guests at your sign in table.
