Belle Rose in Beautiful Blues

We had some absolutely beautiful weddings this past month and the event at Belle Rose Maison was no exception. With blue hydgrangea, beautiful white roses, blue delphinium and hot pink miniature garden roses with dangling crystals atop tall cylinders with curly willow inside the vase. Against the royal blue pin tuck linens the arrangements were stunning. We also used phaleanopsis orchid plants as accents in different area of the ballroom and in the bathrooms to add just a little more personality to the evening. It was a beautiful night to celebrate!

A Hint of Blush

There is something so beautiful about a soft color pallet with whites, greens and a hint of a blush pink. It just screams bridal, in a soft pretty way ;)... This beautiful bride had her ceremony at the Woodlands United Methodist Church in the Robb Chapel. The chapel was decorated with white roses on the pews, white hydrangea plants on the altar and beautiful greenery wreaths with a white focal area of mixed flowers on the doors.

Her bouquet was a stunning mix of all white flowers including peonies, roses and miniature calla lilies. The fragrance was incredible. I always say, if your nose allows, that every bride should have something sweet to smell when their photographer tells them to put their nose in their bouquet. It adds just a little something extra to the day and pleasant memories when you come across familiar fragrances later.
Her reception was held at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center in the Palmetto Room. With beautiful black linens and white chair covers the flowers really had a chance to shine! With gorgeous white gladiolas in tall glass flutes and a textural mix of blooms in the low arrangements you couldn't help but say "Wow" as you walked into the room. Her low arrangements were filled with a beautiful mix of blush dahlias, bells of Ireland and white hydrangea (please pardon the picture it looks like yellow... but it's really white) with a soft mix of greens. It was a gorgeous day for a fabulous bride.

Showing off in Spring

There is something about the weather in spring that is so nice. I love it when mother nature shows off and lets all her favorite flowers burst into bloom. This beautiful bride got to enjoy the best of the season.

Her bouquet was a beautiful mix of soft pink and white roses with Stephanotis blooms while her boutonnieres were a simple white rose with a blue delphinium bloom accent. While outside she had 2 fabulous candelabra arrangments to frame the lovely couple during their ceremony.

Rosy Reds...

One of my favorite things about all red weddings, is that they are not shy! Instantly you get a wow factor with such vibrant beautiful color. This bride got double use out of her aisle decor of red pomanders by using them as accent pieces at her reception. They were a fun alternative to traditional petals being laid down the aisle, and definitely caught her guests attention!

Pretty in Pink...

Spring is the perfect time to bring out the pink! Especially with a splash of green or white to liven it all up. Her pew decor was a beautiful single stem of pink hydrangea with a white satin ribbon. They are one of my favorite pew decor options for an indoor ceremony simply because they are so much bang for one bloom! Her reception centerpieces were fun and vibrant with alstromeria, hydrangea and miniature garden roses accented by green limes in the vases.

All Shook Up...

We had another fabulous event at The Club at Carlton Woods on March 12th for the Shook family. They celebrated all night long! With fresh greens and whites, candle light and dusty pinks the color scheme was reminiscent of a vintage boutique with vibrant pops of green, creating a fresh and light atmosphere. The bridal bouquet was a combination of roses, ranunculus, lisianthus and miniature garden roses. The mothers carried silver tussie mussie bouquets of all white flowers and the bridesmaids had a smaller version of the bridal bouquet.
The Robb Chapel at the United Methodist Church had just the right amount of color with her vintage whites and a pop of jade.
At the reception is was all about the green and white with a beautiful garland of flowers around the cake base, accent pieces on the buffet stations and beautiful centerpieces.
We did a combination of 2 different styles. One was a large bubble bowl filled with an airy arrangement of white hydrangea, green spiders, green hypericum berries and draping seeded eucalyptus. The other arrangements were a wreath of the same variety of flowers surrounding a cylinder with a floating candle inside.
The bride also got to show off one of our favorite new bridal trends; the Reception Bouquet. It is a special bouquet that you can use at the reception and wear almost like a hand bag. Because every bride should have flowers on her during her special day, but not have to worry about carrying a traditional bouquet around; thus we created this beautiful reception bouquet for her of white phaleanopsis orchid blooms, seeded eucalyptus, lily grass and bits of greenery on a crystal ring. It's the perfect accessory for any bride at her reception!

Wishing in Crystal...

Wishing trees are something that have become very popular in the last year. This brides tree was created with bleached manzinita branches in tall cylinders with crystals at the base and hung in the tree branches. The manzinita is a strong branch and is great for draping crystals, candles or holding an array of wishing cards. Her cake was a beautiful combination of white miniature garden roses, green hypericum and white cushion poms on the top and as an accent around the base.
Her centerpieces were a mix of tall arrangements with a mix of peach and pink gladiolas with draping seeded eucalyptus. While her low centerpieces were a beautiful mix of white miniature garden roses, two tone pink asiatic lilies and accents of blueplurum. With platinum linens her colors really popped once the lights were dimmed and the candle lit. It's was a beautiful set up for an equally as beautiful bride.

Walden Yacht Club...

One word comes to mind when I think of Walden Yacht Club: Serene... It was a gorgeous venue with a beautiful gazebo that overlooked the water. Along with her color scheme of beautiful reds accented by teal. With a slight breeze, a few wispy clouds in the sky and temperatures in the 70's you couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day to get married!

Grand Opening...

March brought all sorts of gorgeous wild flowers, weddings and grand openings! Autumn Leaves Assisted Living in The Woodlands opened their doors to the public with a beautiful reception earlier this month; and no reception is complete without beautiful arrangements to compliment the decor! Their theme for the night was based on the lily bloom with silver and blue accents. Beautiful white oriental lilies filled the air with a sweet fragrance while the pillowey blue hydrangea created a softness to the arrangements. We are proud to work with such amazing people and wish Autumn Leaves the best of luck!
