Roses are red, so are Gerberas
It's slightly ironic that one of the most popular colors for flowers is red, but in all reality there are not as many true red flowers as there are of some other colors. Gerbs and roses are always an easy find, and very reliable. Other focal red flowers might include amaryllis, anthirium, ginger, dahlias, gladiolas, and of course carnations. The dilemma is that most of the flowers listed are either seasonal, linear or very tropical in nature. Although there is an abundance of red accent flowers to supplement any focal blooms. Red is such an emotional color and symbolizes passion, love and romance, thus making it the perfect flower for a wedding.
