Buttons and Butterflies

Color trends are always interesting to follow. More frequently we are seeing a move towards purple, the color of royalty. Often it is mixed with greens which create a nice pop of color with contrast, but they also serve as a nice bright neutral. The ceremony was held on The Forest Deck at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center. What a beautiful venue for a wedding ceremony. With a lake behind the gazebo and the greens from the golf course to the right, couples have a perfect backdrop for the place where they start such a grand adventure with each other.
The gazebo was decorated with our custom white curtains and tulle stretched across the top with a slight swag. The floral tie backs are a nice addition to the curtains in place of ribbon. We also install the aisle runner in 50 and 100' lengths. It's a nice way to make sure that the brides dress does not get caught on the rough wood of the deck. The reception was held in The Glass across the water. Each arrangement had a beautiful tall arrangement with green hydrangea, purple roses, purple stock, green buttons and green and purple butterfly accents in tall rental fluted vases. It was a beautiful fresh color pallet for a beautiful spring day.
